Barcelona have reportedly reached full agreements to sign Manchester City's Joao Cancelo and Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix on loan deals.

The Catalan giants have already added Oriol Romeu, Ilkay Gundogan and Inigo Martinez to their squad this summer, but they have been looking to bring in further reinforcements before the transfer deadline.

Following successful negotiations with Man City and Atletico, Barcelona are set to add two more names to Xavi's squad.

According to The Athletic, the La Liga champions have reached full agreements to sign Cancelo and Felix on season-long loan deals.

The report claims that both deals do not include an option to buy, which would result in negotiations starting from scratch if Barcelona decide to pursue permanent transfers at the end of the season.

Cancelo has been waiting to be unveiled as a Barcelona player for the last week, with his signing held up due to Barcelona's Financial Fair Play issues.

The Portugal international has been allowed to leave Man City after spending the second half of last season on loan at Bayern Munich.

The German champions reportedly made an enquiry over a potential loan deal for Cancelo in the closing stages of the transfer window.

However, Barcelona are set to ward off any late interest and strengthen their full-back options, which currently includes Sergi Roberto, Marcos Alonso and Alejandro Balde.

Felix, meanwhile, has been searching for a new club for the majority of the summer after being deemed surplus to requirements by Atletico.

The 23-year-old, who has four years left to run on his current contract, has not featured in any of Atletico's opening three league games.

Barcelona's decision to allow Ansu Fati to join Brighton & Hove Albion on loan has opened the door for his arrival.

Felix spent the second half of the 2022-23 campaign on loan at Chelsea, where he scored four goals in 20 competitive appearances.

After picking up seven points from their opening three games, Barcelona will attempt to continue their unbeaten start when they travel to Pamplona to face Osasuna on Sunday. body check tags ::
