Barcelona are reportedly still planning to bring Memphis Depay to Camp Nou this summer despite the fact that the club are closing in on a deal for Manchester City's Sergio Aguero.

Ronald Koeman's side are thought to be in advanced talks with Aguero, who is seemingly set to arrive on a free transfer following the expiration of his Man City deal.

However, according to AS, Barca are still determined to sign Memphis, with the Netherlands international, as it stands, also available on a free transfer at the end of June.

The Dutchman, who is believed to have come close to joining Barca last summer, has enjoyed another impressive season for Lyon, scoring 21 goals and registering 10 assists in 38 appearances.

The 27-year-old has thus far refused to pen a new contract with his French club and is likely to be on the move following four years at Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

Koeman's side are also said to be closing in on the signing of Man City centre-back Eric Garcia.
