Bayern Munich have agreed a fee with Manchester City for German international Jerome Boateng.
The defender is expected to have a medical in Germany today ahead of signing a four-year deal.
Bayern sporting director Christian Nerlinger said: "Jerome Boateng is a young German international, who fits perfectly into the philosophy of FC Bayern."
The 22-year-old signed for City from Hamburg last summer for over £10.4m but failed to gain a regular place in Roberto Mancini's team, making just 16 appearances.
