Bayern Munich are reportedly still interested in Manchester City winger Leroy Sane, despite the German international spending most of this season on the sidelines.
Sane suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury against Liverpool in the Community Shield and is not set to return until later this month at the earliest.
According to the Daily Mail, the 24-year-old missed out on a move to Bayern last summer because of his injury, but the Munich club remain interested in bringing him to Bavaria when the summer transfer window opens.
Bayern president Herbert Hainer reiterated the club's interest in Sane this week, with the winger's contract at the Etihad set to run out at the end of next season.
Since arriving from Schalke 04 in 2016, Sane has scored 39 goals in 139 appearances for Pep Guardiola's side.
The former Bayer Leverkusen youth player scored 10 Premier League goals in both of the last two seasons and has netted five times for the Germany national team.
