Celtic have reportedly moved to dismiss the idea that midfielder Daniel Arzani could be recalled by Manchester City at the end of the year.
The Australia international was snapped up by the Citizens from Melbourne City after representing his country at the World Cup, before being sent straight out on loan to Celtic.
Arzani has yet to play for the Bhoys or even appear on the bench, however, with Brendan Rodgers suggesting that the 19-year-old is not yet ready for first-team action.
That led to talk Down Under of the youngster's Celtic Park stay being cut short in January, as Man City allegedly inserted a clause in his loan agreement to ensure that he is given minutes on the field.
According to the Daily Record, though, Celtic sources have quashed the notion of a return, meaning that the winger will remain north of the border until at least the end of the season.
Arzani starred from the bench in Australia's 4-0 friendly win over Kuwait on Monday.
