Manchester City are reportedly keeping tabs on stalling contract talks between Borussia Dortmund and midfielder Marco Reus.
According to The Mirror, the Blues have been showing interest in the German international for three years, but the Bundesliga club have been unwilling to do business so far.
However, Reus is said to have told the club that he is willing to wait until the end of the season to discuss a new contract.
His situation is believed to have put City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United on high alert, with the player rumoured to be available for as little as £20m next summer due to a clause in his existing deal.
On Saturday, Dortmund lost their fourth league game this season with a 1-0 defeat at home to Hamburger SV.
