Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Manchester City.
Manager Pep Guardiola has previously revealed that he would like to strengthen at the back during the January window due to a long-term injury to Benjamin Mendy and ongoing fitness concerns regarding Vincent Kompany.
According to Calciomercato, Skriniar's form at San Siro has led to Guardiola being impressed with the 22-year-old, who has earned 14 caps for Slovakia.
During the summer, Skriniar penned a five-year contract with the Italian giants and the player has since gone on to make 18 appearances in Serie A.
However, despite Inter having to improve their position with FFP, the club are likely to reject any offer for Skriniar due to sitting in third place in the table.
Skriniar has previously been linked with Barcelona, but he insists that he has no interest in moving to Camp Nou.
