Manchester City are winning the race to sign Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, according to a report.
Roberto Mancini's side will make a £52m move for the striker, activating his buy-out clause to beat Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid to his signature.
The Mirror reports that City will ensure Cavani chooses to move to the Etihad Stadium by offering him £250,000-a-week salary.
Mancini is eager to conclude the deal quickly for his top target, as he looks to challenge for the Premier League title after losing out this year to rivals Manchester United.
