Craig Bellamy has refused a move to Celtic after deciding to continue his career at Manchester City.
The Hoops were reportedly close to landing the Welsh striker, who completed a loan stint at the Scottish club while at Newcastle six years ago.
Despite Celtic boss Neil Lennon’s desire to obtain the 32-year-old’s signature, Bellamy has insisted that he wants to remain at Manchester City, according to Sky Sports.
The frontman spent last season on loan to Cardiff after falling out of favour at the Premier League club.
The former Liverpool player faces an uphill struggle to reach the City first team, with the options of Sergio Aguero Mario Balotelli, and Edin Dzeko all available to manager Roberto Mancini.
