Ronny Deila has said that John Guidetti should remain with Celtic after his loan spell with the Scottish champions comes to an end.
The Swedish striker is on a season-long loan from Manchester City, and has already scored 10 goals in just 11 appearances this campaign.
Deila hinted that the club will try to secure a permanent deal for the forward when the transfer window opens in January.
He told the Daily Record: "With every player we bring in on loan we try to have an option to buy. That's why we know what it will cost.
"It could be harder at the end of the season. This decision has to be taken before that. He should stay here. He will develop and achieve big things. This is the right club for him, especially at the age he is now."
It has also been suggested that the Premier League champions could recall the striker early due to an injury to Edin Dzeko.
