Celtic manager Ronny Deila has revealed that he has opened talks with Manchester City defender Dedryck Boyata regarding a potential transfer during the summer.
With the Scottish Premiership title already secured, Deila has set his sights on improving his squad ahead of next season, and the Norwegian has confirmed that the 24-year-old is one of a number of players in discussions with the club.
The 39-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "We will see if we can make it. We are talking with a lot of players now, going around trying to strengthen, and he is one of them."
The Belgian international has been restricted to just six appearances in all competitions for Man City during the current campaign.
