Manchester City reportedly have plans to hand a new contract to goalkeeper Ederson in the coming weeks.

The Premier League champions have extended the deals of a number of players this summer, the latest announcement involving defender Ruben Dias.

According to The Times, City are now ready to act with Ederson, despite the stopper having a contract at the Etihad Stadium until 2025.

The 28-year-old has proven invaluable since his transfer to the club in 2017, making a total of 195 appearances in all competitions.

City officials are said to want to reward the Brazil international for his performances over the course of his stay at the club. body check tags ::
