Erling Braut Haaland's agent Rafaela Pimenta has insisted that the forward is "happy" at Manchester City but hinted that his long-term future is uncertain.
Haaland has enjoyed a successful start to his Manchester City career after joining the Premier League champions from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
In 27 appearances for Pep Guardiola's side, he has scored 31 goals - including 25 in the league - and provided three assists.
Haaland is currently represented by Pimenta, who took over the reins of Mino Raiola's agency after the agent passed away in April 2022.
Pimenta refused to confirm or deny whether Haaland has a release clause in his contract, but she insists the 22-year-old is "happy" at the Etihad Stadium.
"I have done all the contracts for this agency in the last 25 years. Everybody," she told AS. "There wasn't a single time that a player said 'I want to go' and couldn't do it.
"My hope is that he is always happy wherever he is. And today he is very happy at City. Tomorrow, we'll have to think about it.
"It is not positive for a footballer to play one season thinking about the next. It's like you start thinking about your next woman the day you get married.
"Today, Haaland is 'married' but as a lawyer, I have to prepare for the possibility that if you need the key [to the door], you can have it."
When asked how much Haaland is worth, Pimenta claimed that the Norway international has a value of €1bn (£886.7m).
"We made Pogba for €80m and everyone said... It's incredible! Today many are worth it. Neymar's €222m is at the top... The numbers change. For me, Haaland is worth €1bn," Piementa said.
"Maybe nobody is going to pay that, but it is the potential he has when he arrives at a club.
"With him come fans, goals, sports results, professionalism, digital content, notoriety, sponsors... If you put all of these together, your value is an aggregate of many things. But the price of a footballer is actually set by a club."
"I know that nobody is going to pay €700m for a player, but I am very clear the value that Erling adds when he arrives at a club is immense, at least €1bn."
Haaland is expected to be involved when Man City face Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday's Premier League meeting.
