AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has confirmed that the club will not be signing Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
Talks between the two parties broke down on Thursday over a possible deal for the Argentinian.
Milan forward Alexandre Pato's reluctance to join Paris Saint-Germain was apparently the catalyst for the failed transfer.
"Pato has decided to stay, so Tevez will not come," Galliani told Sky Sport Italia. "Those two deals were connected, if one player does not leave, then the other will not come."
Inter Milan are now reported to be favourites to land Tevez.
