Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan will reportedly 'look for assurances over regular football' before deciding to commit his future to the Premier League champions.
Gundogan has made over 100 appearances for City since a 2016 move from Borussia Dortmund.
The 28-year-old has been a regular for the Citizens this season, making 43 appearances in all competitions, scoring five times and contributing seven assists in the process.
The Germany international will see his current deal with the Citizens expire in 2020, though, and it has been suggested that the midfielder has put contract talks on hold.
According to The Sun, Gundogan wants to know what type of role he will have under Pep Guardiola moving forward before penning a new deal.
Inter Milan and Bayern Munich have both been linked with moves for the former Dortmund midfielder.
