Erling Braut Haaland will reportedly see a €200m (£172m) release clause become active in his Manchester City contract in the summer of 2024.
The Premier League champions confirmed the arrival of the 21-year-old striker from Borussia Dortmund last month, after activating his £51m release clause.
Haaland is yet to play for Pep Guardiola's side but his long-term future has already been speculated, with Marca claiming that Real Madrid are aware of the Norwegian's release clause.
The report adds that a £172m release clause will become active in Haaland's contract in the summer of 2024, just two years into his deal at the Etihad Stadium, and that valuation could then drop to €175m (£150m) the following year.
Real Madrid were allegedly intrigued by the prospect of signing Haaland this summer, and although they are aware of his desires to one day represent the Spanish giants, they instead focused on their pursuit of Kylian Mbappe, which ultimately ended in disappointing fashion.
Haaland is understood to have had release clauses included in his contracts throughout his career, including ones at both Dortmund and Red Bull Salzburg. body check tags ::
