Inter Milan have claimed that they are no longer in pursuit of Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
The controversial frontman, who is believed to be in discussions with Inter rivals AC Milan, is thought to have been able to reach an agreement with the Serie A side.
"I'm not disappointed because the terms that we had negotiated with the player, which I imagine are similar to that of Milan's, we didn't consider them acceptable," Inter president Massimo Moratti told Gazzetta dello Sport.
AC Milan are believed to be eager to secure a loan deal for the 27-year-old, while Man City stand firm on selling the Argentina international.
