Inter Milan will reportedly ward off interest in striker Lautaro Martinez by giving the player a new bumper contract.
The Argentine, who signed for the club in 2018, has impressed with his performances alongside Romelu Lukaku this season, netting 13 goals in all competitions.
Barcelona, currently on the search for Luis Suarez's replacement, have reportedly pinpointed Martinez as an ideal option ahead of next summer.
According to Sport Mediaset, Inter plan to meet with Martinez's representatives to begin talks over a new long-term deal for the player.
The current Serie A leaders want to extend the player's contract until the end of the 2024-25 season, with Martinez receiving an annual salary of around £2.9m.
