Inter Milan are reportedly considering a summer move for Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy.
The 26-year-old has only made 73 appearances during his four years with the Citizens, having struggled with a number of injury problems since arriving from Monaco.
Mendy was restricted to just 13 Premier League outings during the 2020-21 campaign, and he only has two years left to run on his contract with the English champions.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter have identified the France international as the ideal signing to boost their options in defence for the 2021-22 season.
Man City are said to be open to the idea of allowing Mendy to leave during this summer's transfer window, as a new left-back could arrive at the Etihad Stadium in the coming weeks.
Fulham's Antonee Robinson has allegedly emerged as a transfer target, while Oleksandr Zinchenko and Joao Cancelo are already options for Pep Guardiola in that area of the field. body check tags ::
