Inter Milan are reportedly determined to land Eliaquim Mangala from Manchester City at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old has not turned out for City this term as the central defender nurses the knee injury that he picked up during the second game of his loan spell at Everton in February.
Mangala has made 79 appearances for City since a 2014 move from Porto, but he spent the 2016-17 season with Valencia and has played just nine times for the club in the Premier League since the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
The Frenchman will see his current deal with the Citizens expire at the end of the season, and according to The Sun, Inter will attempt to secure his signature on a pre-contract at the start of 2019.
The same report claims that Mangala would prefer to stay in England though, which has attracted the attention of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The centre-back was a regular during his first two seasons at the Etihad Stadium before falling out of favour.
