Robert Lewandowski could be on the verge of dispelling transfer rumours as he is reportedly close to signing a new contract at Bayern Munich.
The Poland international, who has scored 36 goals in 39 matches in all competitions this season, has been linked to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
It has also been reported that manager Pep Guardiola wants to take Lewandowski with him when he takes over at Manchester City this summer.
However, according to Bild, the 27-year-old has decided to commit his future to Bayern and intends to sign a contract running until 2021.
Lewandowski made the controversial move to the Allianz Arena from Borussia Dortmund in 2014.
