Manchester City midfielder Marcos Lopes has not moved to rule out the idea of a permanent stay at current loan club Lille.
The Brazilian is contracted to City until 2016 and is due to return to Manchester at the end of the current season, with the young playmaker suggesting that his future will become clearer in the summer.
"At the moment, it is expected that I will return to City," said Lopes, according to L'Equipe.
"But anything is possible. I still have one year left on my contract [2016]. We will see this summer. I love this city, the club and all the people with whom I have worked and lived with here."
Lopes has started six times for Lille this season and has managed to make a good impression despite some niggling injuries.
