Manchester City have reportedly agreed to sign Los Angeles Galaxy youngster Alejandro Alcala at a later date.
Pep Guardiola is currently looking to make a number of first-team additions ahead of attempting to defend the club's Premier League title.
However, according to ESPN, City officials have been working behind the scenes to secure the signature of wonderkid Alcala.
The report claims that a preliminary agreement has been reached between the relevant parties for Alcala to make the future switch to the Etihad Stadium.
Alcala, who does not turn 16 years of age until October, is pencilled in to complete a move to City when he turns 18 in 2023.
The teenager can play in central midfield or behind the main striker.
