Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez will reportedly join Manchester City at the end of the season.
Saul, 24, has a contract with Atletico until the summer of 2026, but the Spain international has been continually linked with a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano over the last 12 months.
Barcelona and Manchester United have both previously been linked with a swoop for the midfielder, but according to ESPN, City will win the race for Saul at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
The Spaniard, who spent time with Real Madrid during his youth career, has scored three times and provided one assist in 24 La Liga appearances for Atletico this term.
Pep Guardiola's side, meanwhile, have also been credited with an interest in Saul's teammate Thomas Partey, with the Citizens needing a medium-to-long-term replacement for Fernandinho.
City - chasing a quadruple this season - are back in Premier League action away to struggling Fulham on March 30.
