Manchester City are considering a bid for Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi.
The 28-year-old, whose contract expires at the end of the season, could be snapped up for a reduced fee, according to The Guardian.
However, the Italy international's wage demands are thought to be a potential stumbling block for any deal.
De Rossi, who has spent ten years at the Stadio Olimpico, would reportedly want £200,000 per week if he moved to the Etihad Stadium.
