Manchester City are reportedly continuing to consider a January offer for Hearts defender Aaron Hickey.
Earlier in the summer, City were linked with a future bid for the 17-year-old, who had already been given opportunities in the first team at Tynecastle.
The left-back has since become a regular in the starting lineup, making six outings this season and scoring the winner in the Edinburgh derby against Hibernian at the weekend.
According to the Daily Mail, City remain interested in signing Hickey, potentially in January with a view of loaning the prospect back to Hearts.
The report adds that scouts from the Premier League champions will assess the teenager while monitoring the development of Ryotaro Meshino, whom City have allowed to spend a period on loan at the Scottish Premiership club.
