Manchester City are reportedly keeping tabs on Sporting Gijon youngster Pelayo Morilla.
Pelayo has broken into the Gijon first team this season, making four substitute appearances and scoring his first senior goal in the Copa del Rey in September.
The 17-year-old is understood to be highly rated in Spain, and The Mirror reports that City boss Pep Guardiola is keen to keep a close eye on his development.
The Premier League champions have sent scouts to watch the teenage forward and could look to test Gijon's resolve with a January bid.
Pelayo, who is a Spain Under-19 international, still has 18 months left on his contract with Gijon.
