Manchester City have reportedly pulled the plug on their attempts to sign Paul Pogba this summer.
The Juventus midfielder has been heavily linked with moves to City, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain in this window, but it appears that chances of a move to the Premier League are remote.
The Telegraph claims that City have been put off by the £71m asking price, plus Pogba's £12m-per-year salary demands.
The report also says that Pogba favours a move to Barcelona, and is likely to sign for them next summer when their transfer ban has been lifted.
The Frenchman joined Juventus from Manchester United in 2012.
