Manchester City have reportedly ruled out a summer departure for Bernardo Silva.
Although the Portugal international has three years to run on his current contract, Silva has been linked with a move away in the current transfer window, with Barcelona said to be keen on signing the winger.
A recent report indicated that Barcelona president Joan Laporta held talks with the player's agent Jorge Mendes over a possible transfer.
Despite Barcelona demonstrating an intent to sign Silva, according to The Mirror, Man City have no intention of selling the 27-year-old this summer.
City previously considered allowing Silva to leave last summer due to personal reasons, but Barcelona were unable to fund the deal.
The report also suggests that City have considered selling the former Monaco player for €80million (£68m), but a move away from the Etihad Stadium now seems to be off the table, with Pep Guardiola including Silva in his plans for next season.
Silva is expected to fly out to with the rest of the City squad on Saturday for a pre-season tour of the United States. body check tags ::
