Manchester City have reportedly identified Swansea City defender Joe Rodon as a potential transfer target.
Rodon had not played higher than League Two before the start of this season, but the 20-year-old has now featured nine times in the Championship.
The centre-back has helped Swansea put together the second-best defensive record in the division, and according to The Mirror, it has caught the attention of Man City.
The report claims that the Premier League champions are considering whether to launch an approach for Rodon, who has less than a year remaining on his contract.
Swansea manager Graham Potter has encouraged Rodon to commit his future to Swansea, with the Welsh outfit prepared to offer the prospect a fresh deal.
