Manchester City are reportedly keeping tabs on Aston Villa's highly-rated youngster Jaden Philogene-Bidace.
The 18-year-old forward has been in fine form for Villa's Under-18s side, scoring six times in 10 league appearances.
Philogene-Bidace's performances have alerted some of the top teams around Europe and according to Birmingham Live, Manchester City have edged ahead of both Dutch side Ajax and German outfit Bayern Munich.
The Villa youngster signed for the club in January 2019, after impressing at the Pro:Direct Academy in London.
Villa are understood to be keen for Philogene-Bidace to sign a new long-term deal after a promising start to his youth career.
If Manchester City do wish to sign the Villa teenager then they must be wary that overseas clubs could recruit the academy player for minimal compensation, should his contract expire.
