Manchester City have reportedly added Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner to a list of possible targets ahead of the January transfer window.
The 30-year-old, whose current deal expires at the end of the season, has been linked with a number of clubs in recent months as he moves closer to a possible exit from the Serie A champions.
City will send scouts to check on Lichtsteiner in the coming weeks before deciding whether to make a move for the Switzerland international, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The report claims that Serbian defender Matija Nastasic could be sent in the other direction as part of the deal.
Nastasic's only appearance for City this season came in the Community Shield defeat to Arsenal in August.
