Manchester City will reportedly open talks with Raheem Sterling before the end of the season regarding a new contract.
The 23-year-old has been in fine form for Pep Guardiola's side having scored 20 goals and created 11 assists in all competitions so far.
The England international has more than two years on his current deal, but according to ESPN, the North-West outfit are keen to offer him fresh terms.
The report claims that City officials will begin negotiations with Sterling's camp once the team have secured the Premier League title, which they are on course to do with a win over Manchester United on April 7.
As it stands, the club have a 16-point lead over the rest of the pack in the table.
