Manchester City have reportedly joined the hunt for Flamengo attacker Reinier.
The 17-year-old, who has scored four times and contributed two assists in 12 appearances for his Brazilian club this season, is believed to be on the radar of a number of European clubs.
Indeed, Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have all recently been credited with an interest in the attacker.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are said to have made contact with the in-demand teenager's father in the hope of stealing a march on their rivals.
According to Mundo Deportivo, City are also now weighing up a swoop for Reinier, with the Premier League champions being alerted to his progress since breaking into the Flamengo first team.
Reinier, who has scored five times in 10 appearances for Brazil's Under-17 side, is believed to have a £60m release clause inserted into his current deal.
