Manchester City have reportedly been scouting Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni as they consider an approach for the Italian during this summer's transfer window.
The 20-year-old has made 16 first-team appearances for Inter during the 2019-20 campaign and has featured in seven of his team's last nine Serie A matches.
According to Calciomercato, the Milan giants are hoping to convince the Italy Under-21 international to sign a new contract at San Siro, but Man City are said to have been following him closely during the 2019-20 campaign.
The report also claims that Barcelona are interested in signing the central defender.
Bastoni joined Inter from Atalanta BC in 2017 and spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan with Parma, making 24 Serie A appearances for the club before returning to I Nerazzurri.
Pep Guardiola's team are expected to move for at least one new centre-back this summer having struggled in that area of the field during the current season.
