Manchester City will reportedly move for Real Sociedad winger Mikel Oyarzabal during the January transfer window, with Pep Guardiola thought to have around £100m to spend.
City have had a tough start to the Premier League season and sit third with 17 matches played, 14 points adrift of leaders Liverpool.
According to a report in Spain, Guardiola's side will now target Oyarzabal, who has scored six goals and registered four assists in La Liga so far this season.
The report adds that Oyarzabal could be seen as a replacement for the injured Leroy Sane, who was also linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium during the summer.
The 22-year-old winger has made seven appearances for the Spanish national team since making his debut in 2016 and already has more than 150 senior appearances to his name at Sociedad.
The Citizens were today drawn against Real Madrid in the last 16 round of the Champions League.
