Libertad attacker Jesus Medina has reportedly decided to reject Copenhagen and sign for Manchester City.
Both clubs have been chasing the winger, who earlier this year won his first cap for Paraguay after scoring 17 goals in 74 appearances for Libertad.
However, according to Futbol a lo Grande, Medina has opted to link up with Pep Guardiola's side with a transfer expected to go through in the New Year.
Due to Medina currently unable to gain a work permit, the prospect will be loaned out to City's sister club New York City FC for the 2018 season.
Should a deal be completed, Medina will join fellow City midfielder Yangel Herrera, with the Venezuelan international spending two years at the MLS side.
