Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has laughed off suggestions that he may resign should he not secure the transfer targets he wants this summer.
The Italian is believed to be keen to add another midfielder to his squad before Friday's deadline, but he has denied newspaper talk that he could leave the Etihad Stadium if he is unable to do so.
"No. It is not true. If the newspaper sells a lot of copies, I am happy for the newspaper. I never said this and I never think this," said Mancini.
Swansea City winger Scott Sinclair is reportedly close to joining the Premier League champions in a £6.2m deal.
