Manchester City midfielder James Milner has revealed that he is close to signing a new contract with the club.
The 28-year-old's current terms at the Etihad Stadium are due to expire in the summer.
Having already made nine appearances in all competitions for City this season, Milner now expects to extend his stay with the Premier League champions.
"We've been in talks with the club," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "We've talked about it and hopefully it can get sorted sometime soon."
Milner has played over 150 games for the Blues since he joined the club from Aston Villa in 2010.
