Swansea City manager Garry Monk has revealed that negotiations are still ongoing with Manchester City over the transfer of Wilfried Bony.
The Ivorian's agent, Francis Kacou, has claimed that a deal between the two clubs should be completed soon.
Monk was speaking after his side's 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Saturday. Andy Carroll opened the scoring for the Hammers with a fine strike, but a Mark Noble own goal rescued a point for the Swans.
Monk told BBC Sport: "We knew we had to match West Ham physically - it looked like two good teams going at it, I was a little disappointed that we allowed Andy Carroll the space to pick his spot."
He added: "The situation with Wilfried Bony is still ongoing. The negotiations with Manchester City are still happening in the last few days.
"I was prepared for Wilfried to go for the next few weeks anyway and I will be ready to deal with whatever comes out of that."
Bony is currently away on international duty with the Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations.
