Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly emerged as potential suitors for Nicolas Otamendi, who could be prepared to leave Manchester City in this summer's transfer window.
Otamendi joined City from Valencia in 2015 and has made more than 150 appearances for the reigning English champions in all competitions.
The 31-year-old has only appeared on 15 occasions in the Premier League this term, however, with John Stones and Aymeric Laporte ahead of him in the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium.
According to Goal.com, Otamendi is not actively looking to leave the Citizens but would seriously consider a move away at the end of the season.
The same report claims that Wolves are possible suitors due to the fact that the defender's agent, Jorge Mendes, has strong connections with last season's Championship winners.
Otamendi, who is a 59-time Argentina international, only signed a new contract with City last January, but his long-term future at the club is far from secure.
