Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi has reportedly indicated that he wants to return to Valencia.
Otamendi has made a positive impact during his four years at the Etihad Stadium, netting eight goals from his 171 appearances in all competitions.
However, the 31-year-old is no longer regarded as first choice by manager Pep Guardiola, leaving the Argentina international to consider his options.
Super Deporte suggest that Otamendi is looking to secure a second spell with Valencia, a club which he represented for a year before moving to City.
The report adds that the centre-back is prepared to reject any other offers in order to link up with the La Liga side.
City are unlikely to sell Otamendi unless they are able to bring in an experienced replacement.
