Manchester City striker Alex Nimely has left the club to join Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has moved to Selhurst Park after failing to break into the Manchester City side this season and Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway has talked up the credentials of his new signing.
Holloway told the club's official website: "I've admired him for a couple of years. I like his movement, skill and his tenacity.
"I want him to play for us and get some goals and hopefully he'll do that."
Nimely had loan spells at Middlesbrough and Coventry City last season.
