Manchester City's loanee midfielder David Pizarro has confirmed that he will stay at Roma next season.
The 31-year-old moved to the Etihad Stadium on a six-month loan basis in January following a row with Roma coach Luis Enrique.
However, Enrique has since left the Stadio Olimpico and as a result Pizarro is keen to reignite his career in the Italian capital.
"I returned to Rome from Manchester and I'm not going to move again," Pizarro told Il Romanista. "I had no intention of leaving AS Roma even in January, but I had a bad relationship with Luis Enrique and then when [Roberto] Mancini called I accepted. It was all very sudden.
"Now, I'm going on vacation and then I'll return to Rome.
"I hope to finish my European career at AS Roma, I still have a one-year contract and I'm very motivated."
Pizarro made seven appearances for the Citizens, scoring one goal.
