French side Paris Saint-Germain have made a bid of £2.5m for Manchester City's Shaun Wright-Phillips, according to The Bolton News.
The Ligue 1 side are willing to offer the winger a lucrative contract to move to France as they continue their summer spending spree.
Thanks to recent investment from Qatar they have brought in a host of new players, including Javier Pastore, Momo Sissoko and Kevin Gameiro. They have also been linked with Queens Park Rangers' Adel Taarabt.
Premier League side Bolton had hoped to bring Wright-Phillips to the Reebok Stadium but it is feared that the wage demands of the 29-year-old could prove to be a stumbling block.
"He is someone I would love to bring to the club," said Bolton manager Owen Coyle last week.
"Whether it is possible, only time will tell. There are financial implications involved."
Wright-Phillips has struggled to hold down a first-team place at Manchester City and he was left out of the squad for their Premier League match against Swansea on Monday.
