Real Madrid have reportedly identified Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku as a potential long-term replacement for Karim Benzema.
Lukaku has been in excellent form for his Italian club during the 2020-21 campaign, finding the back of the net on nine occasions in nine appearances in all competitions.
Meanwhile, the Belgium international has struck 43 goals in just 60 outings for Antonio Conte's side since arriving from Manchester United in the summer of 2019.
Benzema remains a vital player for Zinedine Zidane's side, but the Frenchman will be 33 next month, and Los Blancos are thought to be looking at long-term replacements for the striker.
According to reports in Spain, Madrid president Florentino Perez views Lukaku, who has a contract at San Siro until the end of the 2023-24 campaign, as a potential signing.
The 27-year-old was allegedly a transfer target for Manchester City over the summer.
