Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino will reportedly move for a striker in the January transfer window.
Lionel Messi's injury problems this season have left the Catalan outfit without a focal point in attack, something that Martino is keen to address when the winter window opens.
According to Sport, Manchester City's Sergio Aguero is the top target, while Borussia Dortmund forward Robert Lewandowski is also believed to be under consideration.
Aguero is likely to command a significant transfer fee, but Lewandowski will be free to agree a deal in January before moving on a free transfer at the end of the season.
