Manchester City will reportedly make a move for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos next summer.
The 27-year-old has a contract with Madrid until 2017, but it is understood that he would consider leaving due to reported friction in the camp in the early part of the season.
According to Le10Sport, that has alerted City boss Manuel Pellegrini, who is believed to be a keen admirer of the Spanish international.
Ramos is held in high regard at the Bernabeu and is indeed the vice-captain, but a large bid from City could force Madrid into a sale.
