Manchester City have agreed to sell centre-back Eric Garcia to Barcelona this month in a €10m (£8.9m) deal, according to a report.
The Catalan giants have made no secret of their desire to re-sign the Spain international, who spent time in their La Masia setup before joining City in 2017.
Garcia is out of contract at the end of the season and rejected the offer of a new deal, meaning that he was free to speak to foreign clubs from January 1.
Mundo Deportivo claims that City have now reluctantly agreed to sell the 20-year-old to Barca, rather than lose him for free in six months' time.
The Citizens were supposedly after £17.8m for the youngster, though it soon became clear that cash-strapped Barcelona were not in a financial position to match that figure.
Garcia has featured seven times for Pep Guardiola's side in all competitions this season.
