Manchester City have reportedly not moved for Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin, despite rumours of the contrary.
It had been understood that City had bid £8m for the 26-year-old, but according to Sky Sports News, no official approach has been made.
Godin joined Atletico from Villarreal in 2010, while he has made 56 appearances for Uruguay.
City face Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
